HealthForce is a medical staffing agency that focuses on nursing professionals. We are currently working with a University located in Petersburg, VA to provide a Nurse Practitioner.
The assignment is for Full time hours, Mon- Fri 8a-5p through mid May (2026).
The NP will work in the Student Health Center seeing patients/students providing patient care, performing exams, treating common illnesses and injuries, referrals when needed. Educating students on prevention, and healthcare resources. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
The NP must have previous experience with women’s health and general health.
An Unexpired CPR card or CPR certificate.
An Unexpired PPD documentation or chest x-ray.
An unexpired Nurse Practitioner license for the state of VA or a compact license.
A master’s degree is required.
Must report to university for work, remote work is not available.

Burke, VA
Full Time
Salary: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
HealthForce of Virginia is a medical staffing agency that focuses on placing health care professionals in contract positions across the state of Virginia. We are currently working with a clinic in Burke, VA to provide a Family Nurse Practitioner to work at their facility. In this position, you will be working at a fairly new family clinic hoping to expand. This clinic will see patients of all ages.
The hours for the position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. We are looking for coverage as soon as possible. The pay ranges between $60 and $65 an hour.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Independent Provider
- At least 3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- An unexpired CPR
- An unexpired PPD or chest x-ray.
- An unexpired Nurse Practitioner license for the state of VA or a compact license.
