Position Overview:
HealthForce of Virginia is currently seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (Counselor II/MSW) to work full time at the Community Service Board in Fairfax. Hours for this position are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Position Description:
Provides direct clinical services to consumers of the assessment unit, serves as a clinical expert, independently completes initial triage screenings, assessments and diagnostic formulations, risk assessments, case coordination activities, crisis interventions, dual diagnosis interventions, supportive counseling, referral to services in the community, and client advocacy in the interest of obtaining the most appropriate services for their client. Maintains detailed clinical charts and confidentiality according to all local, state and federal standards, regulations and statutes.
Must be licensed in the state of Virginia. This position is a hybrid position with some of your hours being worked on sight in Fairfax County.

Objective:
To provide comprehensive social work services to meet the needs of the gero-psychiatric population during admission, treatment and discharge phases; coordinate and implement recovery and community services programs for the facility.
