HealthForce of Virginia is currently seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (Counselor II/MSW) to work full time at a Mental Health Facility in Danville.
We are looking for Licensed Clinical Social Workers to work day shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm), Monday through Friday.
This is 6 Month Contract with choice to renew. Pay rate is dictated by relative experience.
Applicants must have advance knowledge of social work interventions, particularly casework and group work, is essential. The candidate should possess advanced knowledge of mental illnesses, substance abuse/addiction and skills related to psychosocial rehabilitation/recovery models of intervention. The candidate should be knowledgeable of community systems of care and services and the skills to access them. The candidate must have the ability to serve as a member of interdisciplinary teams and/or committees to accomplish objectives and must have effective communication skills with ability to interact with patients, family members, and community-based organizations as well as with coworkers.

Fairfax, VA

Salary: $47.00 – $60.00 per hour
HealthForce of Virginia is currently seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (Counselor II/MSW) to work full time at the Community Service Board in Fairfax. Hours for this position are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 9:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Applicants must have advance knowledge of social work interventions, particularly casework and group work, is essential. The candidate should possess advanced knowledge of mental illnesses, substance abuse/addiction and skills related to psychosocial rehabilitation/recovery models of intervention. The candidate should be knowledgeable of community systems of care and services and the skills to access them.
Applicants must also have the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker status or Eligibility for State Clinical Social Work licensure
- MSW from an accredited graduate school of social work and a minimum of 1000 hours of postgraduate clinical supervision is preferred.
- Case work/group work experience.
